At the Radio Bean I've fulfilled many roles over the years. Built-in furniture was my first construction task, and most recently myself and another builder/designer installed brazilian cherry flooring, a new stage and several platforms.

Hosting open mic was one of the most fulfilling roles I've taken outside of the professional sphere. The community that formed around the mutually shared space spawned many bands and countless magical evenings. Single performers could get accompaniment, and it was the ultimate medium for crowd participation. The last few performance slots inevitably became collaborations between several earlier performers. I eventually quit the position due to the impact the long Monday nights had on my Tuesday mornings.
